In the second quarter of 2024, the personal finance sector has seen varied user engagement across the leading budgeting and planning applications on the unified platform. Sensor Tower provides a detailed look into how these apps have performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Tricount - Split group bills has shown a steady increase in weekly active users, starting with 7.8M in the first week of April and peaking at 8.6M by the end of June. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable peak of 3.4M in late May, while revenue trends saw a significant rise, ending the quarter at $281K.

Splitwise experienced a spike in revenue in late April, reaching $816K, and maintained a relatively stable revenue stream throughout the quarter, concluding with $776K. Weekly active users peaked at 11.7M in late May, with downloads showing an uptick towards the end of June at 2.6M.

For Splid – Split group bills, the quarter saw a consistent rise in revenue, achieving $315K in early June. Downloads reached 1.5M mid-June, and weekly active users demonstrated growth, ending at 7.2M.
